Last week I came across this photo on FB and it immediately got my attention!

It is deejay playing at a
Radio Modern party. They host rockin' fifties styled parties, with live bands, vintage flair and golden oldies. And luckily for me this Belgian initiative is also touring in the Netherlands! But it was the fascinator the girl is wearing that I like the most. And I thought, hey, I can do this myself :-)
So I went to the thriftstore and bought some old records and got creative. This is the endresult!
I used small old vinyl records which I decorated with flowers, paper, buttons and some stickers. And I must say, I quite like how it turned out (A)!
